Osaka Metro Ad Era Co., Ltd.
He is from Osaka Prefecture and graduated from Waseda University. With a passion for regional revitalization, he planned and promoted new tourism and inbound business projects at a venture company before joining the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. There he worked mainly on policies related to tourism workforce development, licensed tour guides, and high‑spending inbound travelers. He assumed his current position in April 2024. Taking into account the needs of inbound travelers, he works to create and develop valuable services for both visitors and businesses that reflect market characteristics and challenges.
We aim to expand collaboration with businesses that engage directly with travelers so that inbound visitors to Osaka for the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai can fully enjoy the city and contribute broadly to the local economy. Centered on Osaka JOINER, we plan to expand the role of connecting inbound travelers with neighborhoods and people. We want to rapidly grow our network of partners and take on impactful challenges. Believing our agility and flexibility to be strengths, we will communicate with many stakeholders before the Expo to broaden possibilities and pursue projects that are interesting in true Osaka fashion.
