The project is promoting Osaka Senshu area, a treasure trove of ingredients blessed with vast seas and fertile soil, as a gourmet city in preparation for the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
They involve collaboration with culinary school students, businesses, government, and top chefs to operate restaurants featuring Osaka Senshu ingredients, develop school lunch recipes, and create sweets using Osaka Senshu ingredients.
The EXPO SENSHU BISHOKU will drive regional revitalization by focusing on five key areas: tourism, human resource development, promoting local production for local consumption, collaborating with top chefs, and ensuring sustainability.
