A project to create a well-being society through the power of connected working women, inspired by the Expo

As a platform for achieving the SDGs, EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai places significant emphasis on women’s empowerment and diversity. In line with this, the “Sakuya Working Community,” a project supporting working women, aims to raise awareness of its network for supporting working women, leveraging the momentum of the Expo. The community has been co-hosting events with student organizations to build excitement for the Expo.
One year and 500 days prior to the EXPO, they held discussion events to deepen understanding of gender issues.
