Technologies and products exhibited at the Expo—all here! An event to experience Expo exhibition technologies

The EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai attracts many visitors from Japan and abroad. The “Reborn Challenge” held at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion has drawn such demand that it has sometimes restricted entry.

After the Expo’s on‑site exhibitions conclude, this project will gather the showcased technologies and products by theme and industry and hold off‑site exhibitions and business meetings at multiple locations across Osaka Prefecture.

During the period, a “Reborn Challenge Off‑site Business Day” of presentations and networking events will be organized to create opportunities for co‑creation and collaboration that could not be realized inside the Expo venue.

Project Inauguration

To further develop products and technologies created for the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai and to provide an opportunity to promote them to people who could not attend the Expo, a new off‑site exhibition event was launched. The aim is to preserve the exhibits not as transient displays but as a living legacy and to make them accessible to a wide audience.

Project Activities

On December 7–8, 2024, a trial exhibition event featuring Osaka prefecture SMEs exhibiting at the Expo was held at Grand Front Osaka Knowledge Plaza. Approximately 1,400 visitors experienced Osaka’s latest technologies. Going forward, exhibitions will be held not only during the Expo but also afterward at various hubs across Osaka Prefecture to continue broad dissemination. Through these activities, the project seeks to make the exhibitions a “living legacy” and provide support that goes beyond PR to directly connect with companies’ actual business growth.

Future Prospects for the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai

To prevent the technologies and products refined for the Expo from becoming one‑off displays, a variety of post‑Expo events are planned. In December following the Expo’s conclusion, a large‑scale exhibition gathering companies and organizations that participated in the Reborn Challenge is scheduled. The Osaka Foundation for Industry Promotion will continue supporting challenges from SMEs and startups through exhibitions and events such as MOBIO, and will promote Osaka’s technological strengths and products from Osaka to the world.
