Osaka Pro Wrestling is “Fierce Struggle! Impression! Laughter! is the motto of Osaka Pro Wrestling, a professional wrestling organization based in Osaka, Japan. Their activities go beyond mere sporting events and are developed as entertainment rooted in the community. In order to create wrestling that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, their prohibit bloodshed and the use of dangerous weapons, and aim to be the organization with the largest number of children fans. In addition, many of our wrestlers have masks and concepts based on Osaka’s specialties, giving the organization a strong regional flavor.

The “Osaka Pro Wrestling Expo Project” is a project launched by Osaka Pro Wrestling to further promote the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai through pro wrestling entertainment that takes advantage of Osaka’s culture and characteristics.

Project Inauguration

Since its re-launch in January 2022, Osaka Pro Wrestling has been working toward its goal of having matches at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Because “Osaka Pro Wrestling” is based in Osaka, they want to enliven the Kansai region from Osaka! By extension, this project was launched to energize not only the Kansai region but also all of Japan.

Project Activities

Osaka Pro Wrestling has held many shows in Osaka and other cities. At the venues, we have held microphone appeals and performances for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. In addition, they have been working daily to promote the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, including the appearance of a masked man called “Osaka Expo Machine!”

Future Prospects for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai

Osaka Pro-Wrestling performance will be held on May 6 (Tue., national holiday) and May 7 (Wed.), 2025, at the Expo Arena Matsuri at the Expo site! They will continue their efforts to bring “Japanese wrestling culture” to the world and invite as many people as possible to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai!
