The free paper EXPO GENERATION, launched by General Incorporated Association demoexpo on May 13, 2025, approaches the Expo from the perspectives of “creating, enjoying, and passing it on.” It gathers stories of people active both inside and outside the venue and captures the real movements taking place in the city, asking readers to consider that those of us living in this era are precisely the “EXPO GENERATION.” The publication takes an unprecedented approach as a media outlet that “cheerleads the EXPO on its own terms.”
Building on the spirit of EXPOST, the “EXPO Support Magazine” published from 2022 through April 2025, this project was launched to share the Expo’s momentum and turn it into lasting value for the city.
The inaugural issue featured surprising local people who help create the Expo, while the second issue planned a feature on the venue’s little‑discussed public art, examining its meaning in its own right.
Going forward, the publication will continue to produce articles about the Expo’s appeal and its impact on the city, using the freer, unofficial perspectives that only an independent media outlet can offer.
