Public Relations & Planning Office, Asia & Pacific Trade Center
She played in the wind ensemble in school and, as a member of a clarinet ensemble led by a mentor, participated in overseas music festivals. After working for a trading company dealing in daily necessities and building materials, she joined ATC. Assigned to the ITM Division at ATC, she used the IT knowledge gained at the trading company to launch a web page for office attraction. She later moved to the predecessor of the Public Relations & Planning Office, the Planning Promotion Team, and opened the Nanko Sunset Hall, a music venue dedicated to chamber music. She planned and managed music events and the Sakishima Dance Fest, revitalizing the “seaside stage” and successfully attracting promotional live shows from major record labels. Since 2020 she has been in charge of the Sakishima Children’s EXPO, devoting herself to events that nurture children’s futures. As a mother of two, she enjoys observing wildlife with her family and is interested in biodiversity conservation.
Under the theme “Designing Future Societies in which Life Shines,” we believe it is important to recognize the value of all life and to foster in children a stronger awareness of protecting life and connecting to a better future. Because Sakishima offers close contact with the natural environment, we will convey these messages through opportunities for play and learning.
