He is from Osaka Prefecture and serves as President and CEO of Hirai Manufacturing Co., Ltd. He is a board member of MISELBA YAO. While running a metal‑pressing business, he developed and sells a drinkable ponzu called “Yao no Yayo” out of a desire to make fish taste better, a passion born from his hobby of fishing. He also opened his factory to launch “Hirai Marche,” an event featuring markets and live music to contribute to the community, support women’s advancement, and back sole proprietors. This term, he has begun collaborating with Yao Welcome Commons to bring artists into the market.
We are based in Yao, a town long renowned for manufacturing whose technical strengths have increasingly gained recognition worldwide. Yao City is also the only municipality planning to exhibit at the Kansai Expo’s Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. At Hirai Marche, we invite a variety of shops and companies rooted in Yao to exhibit, aiming to create an event where visitors from both inside and outside the city can casually experience Yao’s attractions. We would be honored if customers who come to love Yao through this market deepen their understanding of the city at the Expo.
