- EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai — Self‑appointed Support Ambassador
He is approximately 1,600 years old and has a deep love for the ancient burial mounds. On August 28, 2019 (Reiwa 1, 8/28 – a pun on “Ha/Niwa”), he officially became a Sakai city employee, and on August 28, 2020, he was appointed “Special Mission Director directly under the Mayor.” As Haniwa Bucho, CHO (Chief Haniwa Officer), he promotes Sakai City. Impressed by the “Unofficial Expo Support Ambassador” initiative by Sakai City and JICA Kansai, he declared himself the “Unofficial Expo 2025 Support Ambassador” in February 2024 (Reiwa 6), dedicating himself to energizing both the Expo and Sakai through his activities.
I usually appear at various events to help promote Sakai City. As an unofficial “Supporter Ambassador for EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai,” I will (on my own initiative) work to pump up excitement for the Expo and Sakai through (unofficial) collaborations with Myaku‑Myaku, social media outreach, and appearances at events in and beyond the city. Though my head is as stubborn as a stone, with flexible thinking and a warm heart I will use this once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity of the Expo to share Sakai’s charms with Japan and the world.
