The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Born in Nara Prefecture, she studied commerce at Osaka City University. At the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she focused on economic research and policy advocacy within the Planning and Public Relations Office of the General Affairs and Planning Department. She currently manages the EXPO Bar Naka-Semba store. Additionally, she and her colleagues are involved in initiatives such as the “Higashi-Yokoborikawa Edible Park” and the “Swedish Torch in Osaka Project,” which fosters spontaneous, informal encounters through bonfires in the city center of Osaka.
We hope the Expo will provide an opportunity for the community to reconsider its approach to regulations, such as the prohibition on planting edible plants in parks, and that the Edible Park will become an integral part of the community. Our goal is not only to enhance the Expo’s presence from the town center during the event but also to ensure that this initiative becomes a lasting legacy, continuing to benefit the community even after the Expo concludes.
