Joined Obayashi Corporation in 1989. After working in the development department and taking childcare leave, she was transferred in 2000 when a department specializing in PFI projects was established. 20 years in charge of bid proposals; transferred to the Osaka Kansai Expo Office in 2021, where she was involved in the construction of the pavilion, etc. She assumed her current position in 2024. In 2017, she was awarded the 2nd Osaka Sakuyahime Award and took the opportunity to establish the Sakuya Working Community, which aims to promote the activities of women in their daily lives, and obtained her career consultant certification.
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai is an opportunity for individuals to reflect on their own lives and take action toward a sustainable society. As a member of a construction company and as an individual, I am gradually taking steps to realize the sustainability and well-being of the construction industry. I would be delighted to connect with many people who share the same awareness by posting the challenges I face on the “Machigoto Expo” website, and to take action together.
