Providing information for companies to participate in the Expo and fostering momentum for the Expo
The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kansai Area is an association of 71 chambers of commerce and industry located in Osaka and six other prefectures in the Kansai region. The working group has been established since FY2022 to provide information to member companies on how to participate in the Expo and to foster momentum for the Expo, and plans to promote information sharing among the chambers and implement joint projects. One year prior to the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai (April 12, 2023), the Federation began a “Kansai Touring NFT Stamp Rally” utilizing the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet in cooperation with the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, in order to foster momentum for the Expo, encourage visitors to visit attractive tourist facilities in the Kansai region, and promote tourism in the wider Kansai region.
